see it in action

this is what happens at the end of every claude session

bash - ~/projects/myapp
idle
~/projects/myapp โฏ _

no prompts read ยท no code content ยท only tool names, file paths, timestamps

how it works

three steps. zero daemons. one roast.

01

hook fires

after every tool call

Edit, Bash, Write, Read โ€” each call is logged to current-session.jsonl with the tool name, file path, and timestamp. Zero prompt content.

02

session ends

shell wrapper intercepts

A shell wrapper replaces the claude command. When your session exits, it calls claudito automatically. No daemons. No cron jobs.

03

roast delivered

dry, specific, accurate

Claudito reads your session file, builds a behavioral summary, and calls claude -p with your existing auth. The roast prints in a blue terminal box.

good questions

Does it read my prompts or code?

No. Claudito only sees tool names, file paths, and timestamps. The same behavioral metadata in your PostToolUse hook payload. It never reads prompt content, code content, or any text you typed.

What Claude model does it use for the roast?

Your own. Claudito calls claude -p using your existing Claude Code auth. No separate API key, no extra billing. The roast typically costs fractions of a cent.

Does it work on Windows?

Yes. Windows runs PowerShell 5.1+. Mac and Linux run bash or zsh. The hook system and shell wrapper work the same way across all three.

What if I use VSCode instead of the terminal?

VSCode users get the roast injected at the start of their next Claude session as a system message. It's stored in ~/.config/claudito/last-roast.txt between sessions.

Can I use it on multiple machines?

Yes. Each license covers up to 3 devices. Run claudito activate YOUR-KEY on each machine. No servers, no manual device management.

What if I hate it?

You won't. But there's a 7-day free trial so you can decide before paying. At $1.99 lifetime, the risk is very low.
